The 3rd Working Meeting of the Project for the Development of Virtual and Augmented Reality Supported Digital Training Material for Hybrid and Electric Vehicles was held in Romania.

Third Transnational Project Meeting, January 20–22, 2025, Cluj-Napoca, Romania

The host of the third transnational meeting of the project was the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The meeting took place between January 20–22, 2025, and brought together representatives from all partner organizations:

  • Bursa Uludağ University (BU),

  • OİB Vocational and Technical High School,

  • SANLAB AŞ (sectoral partner),

  • Technical University of Sofia,

  • Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.

Key highlights of the meeting:

  • The current results of the project and the planned activities for the upcoming period were reviewed.

  • The partners tested the VR/AR applications developed so far and provided feedback on the completed and remaining tasks related to the development of educational scenarios.

  • An interim evaluation was conducted on the progress of the book “Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technologies”, edited by Prof. Dr. Ridvan Arslan and Prof. Dr. Abdel Kouch. The book, which integrates VR/AR applications and animations accessible via QR codes through mobile phones, tablets, or VR glasses, is expected to be one of the first of its kind in the field.

  • The book is being written in four chapters in both Turkish and English, with contributions from 4 authors from Bulgaria, 9 from Romania, and 6 from Turkey.

During the meeting, participants also had the opportunity to visit various campuses and faculties of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and observe the ongoing research activities at the university.
